Children's Ministry

Gethsemane's Children's Ministry is for all children in Grades 1-6!

I’m sure you’ve thought about what heaven might look like when we get there. Maybe you’ve thought about the golden streets, the alabaster walls, the pearly gates. But what do you imagine heaven will SOUND like? When I hear the children at Gethsemane Baptist Church sing, or any children sing praises to God, I just know that’s how heaven will sound. Listening to them sing helps me worship.

Gethsemane’s children discover, in a variety of ways, why they should sing praises to God as we learn about Him:

On Wednesday nights, at 7:00, we have Children in Action. We learn about missionaries and their children! The boys & girls are led by Stephen & Melody Adams.

Sunday School at 10:00 on Sunday morning, provides a time of Bible study for children. The younger children’s teacher is Becky Goforth and the older children are led by Stephen Adams.

TeamKID - at 6:00 on Sunday evenings, allows children to get a taste of how they can live for Jesus with the TeamKID activities. We have Bible Study, Music, Missions, Snacks & Recreation. TeamKID is led by Robyn Howse!

So listen, in the near future, for the children to sing songs such they've learned during TeamKID.
